Siri Satya Yoga
Live•Change•Grow
A place to slow down, feel, and reconnect with yourself.
At Siri Satya Yoga, yoga goes beyond moving the body. Through movement, breath, meditation, and awareness, space is created to relax, experience new energy, and get closer to yourself.
What is yoga?
Through time and space, from generation to generation, people carry consciousness within themselves — a gift from the universe.
A very long time ago, people in various places on our planet already possessed knowledge and techniques for awakening and raising consciousness. Yoga is one of these techniques.
According to historical sources, yoga originated in India approximately five thousand years ago. However, the forms of yoga as we know them today are partly the result of the transmission of knowledge and techniques by various yoga masters from India, who brought yoga to the West over the past century.
Yoga chitta vritti nirodha योग चिट्टा वृत्ति निरोध — yoga calms the fluctuations of consciousness, the thoughts.
This is the second sutra from the Yoga Sutra’s van Patanjali, one of the classic texts on yoga.
The word yoga means, among other things, connecting or uniting, and that is what we try to do in yoga. We strive to quiet the continuous stream of thoughts or to distance ourselves from it somewhat, so that we can connect with the space that lies behind our thoughts.
Thoughts are an interpretation of our perception. An interpretation that is colored by emotions, learned patterns, expectations, and desires.
According to the yogis, our ordinary perception resembles a small room full of thoughts. These thoughts represent our interpretations of reality, but are not reality itself. The yogis call this illusion maya : the veil through which we cannot fully perceive reality. maya: de sluier waardoor we de werkelijkheid niet volledig kunnen waarnemen.
Reality resides, as it were, behind the doors of this small room and can reveal itself to us when thoughts settle and illusion loses its grip on our consciousness.
As soon as our consciousness can perceive reality more clearly, space is created to grow.
This expanded consciousness can subsequently be trained to make contact with this reality more stable: to learn to perceive without every experience being immediately colored by our thoughts, expectations, and old patterns. For the mechanism by which our thoughts interpret reality has a great influence on our consciousness and does not easily let go of its familiar grip.
Therefore, yoga is a path of practice. Discipline, mindfulness, and the ability to return to the experience again and again are closely connected to the depth that yoga can bring us.
Over Siri Satya
Welcome, I am Zlata
My spiritual name is Siri Satya — a name that for me is connected with truth, consciousness, and the journey inward.
Yoga came into my life out of a desire to understand humanity, life, and ultimately myself more deeply. What began with the physical practice of yoga grew over the years into an inner journey and a way of life.
My path led me from Hatha Yoga to Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and Sat Nam Rasayan. Various traditions and forms have taught me that yoga is not about achieving the perfect posture, but about becoming aware of what lives within us.
In my classes, I find it important to create a space where you can be yourself. A place where you can move and find stillness, where strength and gentleness can coexist, and where you can sometimes meet yourself outside your familiar boundaries.
I provide you with techniques and guidance, but the experience is yours. Every body is different, and every person walks their own path.

You don't have to go anywhere. The journey begins where you are now.
