Bij Siri Satya Yoga We offer various forms of yoga. In addition, we provide Pilates classes. Each class has its own character, energy, and approach.
Sometimes we need movement and strength, sometimes rest and gentleness, and sometimes we feel the desire to go deeper within. That is why we offer various classes, so that you can discover which practice suits you best at this moment.
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is a powerful journey inward. We work with body postures, dynamic exercises, breathing, mantra, meditation, and deep relaxation. The practice sets energy in motion, increases your awareness, and helps you get closer to yourself.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga brings body, breath, and attention together. We take the time to consciously build up and experience postures. A class where strength and gentleness meet, and where you work on flexibility, balance, and inner peace.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and turn inward. The postures are held for extended periods, allowing the body space to release tension. A gentle, meditative practice in which silence and relaxation take center stage.
Pilates
Pilates is a conscious and powerful full-body workout. By focusing on breathing, posture, and control, we primarily strengthen the deeper muscles. We use various aids, such as balls and resistance bands, to make the exercises varied and challenging.
Which yoga suits you?
Yoga begins with listening. Listening to your body, to your breath, and to what makes itself felt within. Sometimes your body tells you that it wants to move and become stronger. Sometimes it asks for rest. And sometimes a desire arises that is harder to put into words — a need to get closer to yourself and discover what lives beneath the surface.
Therefore, there is no single form of yoga that always suits you. We change constantly. What you need today may be different tomorrow. Yoga invites you to become aware of this. Not from the perspective of what you think you should do, but from the simple question:
What do I really need right now?
🌿 Rest & turning inward
When life demands a lot from you, slowing down can actually be very powerful. Yin Yoga We bring the body to rest and remain in the postures for extended periods. By not constantly moving or reacting, space is created to feel. Slowly, it becomes quieter. Your breathing deepens, the body can release tension, and your attention moves from the outside world inward. In that silence, one can find that which we could no longer hear amidst the hustle and bustle.
🔥 Strength & life energy
Our body also wants to move, flow, and feel alive. In Hatha Yoga we connect breathing with yoga postures and movement. You develop strength and flexibility, but at the same time you practice remaining present in the body with your attention. In Pilates We work consciously with posture, stability, and the deeper muscles. Through concentrated movement, not only does physical strength develop, but also an increasingly refined awareness of your own body. Strength does not have to be hard. True strength arises when we can stand firm and simultaneously continue to feel.
✨ Consciousness & transformation
Sometimes we feel that we are ready to go a layer deeper. Kundalini Yoga It works with movement, breathing, mantra, meditation, and deep relaxation. The practice sets energy in motion and helps you to observe more consciously what is happening within you. Thoughts, emotions, and old patterns can become visible. Not to fight against them, but to recognize them and create space for something new. For me, that is why Kundalini Yoga is not just a practice on the yoga mat. It is a journey inward—to more awareness, freedom, and connection with who you truly are.
🤍 Your own path
Maybe you know immediately which yoga suits you. Or maybe not at all. A yoga journey begins with experiencing. Try different classes. Feel what happens during the practice and, perhaps even more importantly: how you feel afterwards.
What can you expect in class?
Asana’s They are body postures that stretch the body and have an effect on both physical and mental well-being. The asanas help to increase vitality, flexibility, physical strength, and endurance, to explore physical and mental boundaries, and to find balance in the visible and invisible layers of the body.
Kriya’s These are the series of exercises in Kundalini Yoga that are designed to serve a specific purpose. For example: to strengthen the nervous system, relieve stress, or let old emotional pain disappear from the body and mind. These series work directly with life energy and help to become aware of it.
Meditations They are silent, seated exercises. In meditation, we turn inward and observe the inner space and the thoughts that pass by. The meditations are an efficient means for awakening consciousness. The meditations help to discover the space behind the thoughts and to establish consciousness in that space.
Breathing exercises or pranayamas are various forms of breathing that we use in yoga to channel the energy—the prana—in our body and consciously direct it. In doing so, the breath forms a connection between the body, the mind, and our consciousness.
Singing mantras is an important part of yoga practice, particularly within Kundalini Yoga. The word mantra can be seen as a sound or combination of sounds that helps to focus and calm the mind. When we sing or repeat mantras, we connect breath, sound, rhythm, and attention. The vibration of our own voice is not only audible but also palpable in the body. Through repetition, the continuous stream of thoughts can slowly fade into the background, creating more space for silence and awareness. You do not need to be able to sing beautifully for this. It is not about performance, but about the experience of the sound and what it sets in motion within you.
